Which do you think is more weird, a man owning a McDonald's hamburger almost 15 years old

Or the creation of The Proud Whopper?

Either way, you probably never thought in  your lifetime either one would exist, let alone gain notoriety. Interesting world we live in, wouldn't you agree.

Ive wondered for quite sometime, what would happen if i microwaved one of my hamburgers. Here's a video I shot, showing my experiment with a year old McDonald's hamburger and how it fares once it's microwaved.

In just 7 days, my McDonald's hamburger will celebrate it's 15th year birthday, on July 7th, 2014. . Which begs two questions, what's being put in fast food to make it last this long, and what effects are fast food having on our body?

Stay tuned for pictures of the aged burger, showing what the hamburger looks like after 15 years. I suspect most of you will be surprised by how little it has changed

People on earth will come and go, but I'm convinced this burger will remain.

The Meat Capsule

These were purchased on February 13, 2013 from six different

fast food restaurants, McDonald's, Jack In The Box, Burger King, Carl's JR, Article Circle, and Wendy's. None of the hamburgers have been refrigerated or have had anything done to them (other then the preservatives and who knows what from the companies). In fact, today was the first time I've looked at them since I purchased them. Think of this as a burger time capsule that I just opened today.

Post a COMMENT on how many you got right,

and what you think of the 13 year-old burger:

Ladd Egan, with Mike Stephen, cameraman, spent Friday morning, filming the World’s Oldest Hamburger in its native habitat and recorded the story about it's inception.

Mike commented that in his 10 years of filming stories, this was the “craziest” he’d ever done.   I have to say it was just a hoot being filmed and interviewed by these two professionals.  It should be a really fun story to watch.
